What To Expect

The Lord's Day Services

When coming to any of our services you can expect to be met with, first and foremost, the Christ-centered teaching and preaching of the inspired, infallible, and inerrant word of the living God.

All the services at OFPC are full of the corporate singing of biblical hymns as well as the Psalms. We desire and endeavor to worship the triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) with Biblical reverence and with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength in every aspect of each service.

We seek to be an inviting, warm, and family-like place where Christians may gather together, be edified, and be equipped to be effective servants in this world through the life-transforming truths of God's holy word.

In addition to this, we seek to be a place where lost sinners may come, feel welcome, learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ, and come to know Him as the friend of sinners and their personal Lord and Savior.

The Mid-week Prayer Meeting

When coming to one of our corporate prayer meetings you can expect to hear a message that is specifically prepared to be a means by which the Holy Spirit will prepare your heart to pray and serve the Lord in prayer.

After the preaching of the word, everyone is encouraged to call upon God one after the other until the Pastor closes the meeting with a final prayer.

The prayer meeting is a crucial aspect of the life of any Biblical church. These are days when God's people need to be gathering together more, not less, and calling upon Him for an outpouring of His Spirit that will result in the revival of His people, the conversion of lost souls, and the repentance of this nation and others.
